TENBURY Library Choir (TLC) has recently celebrated their five year anniversary with a meal at The Fountain, with much fun and in house entertainment and hilarity.
TLC has met regularly every Monday in the upstairs room at Tenbury Wells library under the expert guidance of Polly Bolton the group leader.
Over the years the group has built up a strong repertoire and enjoys world music and folk songs.
From small beginnings they have swelled in numbers to a regular 30 to 40 singers.
There is a strong commitment to the choir as it is a delightful way to begin the week. The emphasis is on singing for pleasure and inclusivity. Much fun and laughter is a strong element of every session.
Polly has been leading community choirs and workshops since 1998, she also runs other local singing groups in Ludlow - primarily Ludlow Larks and singing workshops from, The Oak Barn Centre near Clee St Margaret.
