A SHEEP sale with a difference has done its bit for a threatened leisure centre in Bishop's Castle.
The most unusual was a sheep sale has raised £1,000 to help the SpArC centre.
There was a sale at the livestock market in the town in which farmers had the chance to donate a sheep for sale.
More conventional was a table-top sale and a chance to get the car cleaned at Bishop's Castle Public Hall.
The SpArC is threatened with closure because of cuts to the Shropshire Council budget although it has been given a temporary reprieve with funding promised for at least another year.
