THE volunteer committee of the Clun Parent and Toddler group held a garden party at Lower Splashes Purlogue, the home of chairman Clare Davies and her husband Wayne. The event was well attended and raised over £800. In the large garden there were lots of things to see and do including for the children ride on toys, slides, ball pool, face painting, splay the rat and for the adults, cake and produce sale, guess the weight of the lambs, 50/50 raffle and for everyone a chance to enter the duck race and enjoy the good variety of refreshment.

Winner of the duck race was Craig Morris, winner of the 50/50 raffle was John Alpe with a total prize of £122, guess the weight of the lambs was won by Joe Bateson and the winner of the treasure map was Carys Richards. Clare Davies said "Thank you to everyone who donated cakes, produce and prizes and to all that supported them on the day".
