CARRIAGE driving for the disabled is back in Tenbury after an absence of five years.
Riding for the Disabled has resumed the activity which involves specially adapted carriages that can take a seated driver or a driver in wheelchair.
The riding takes place at Oldwood Common near Tenbury.
Helen Munro and Wendy Jones are co-ordinating the arrangements, with drives starting close to Oldwood Common.
Wendy Jones says she is delighted to see former clients able to join again in the fun of bowling down the lane drawn by Vizzy who used to pull the carriage five years ago.
The group meets fortnightly on Thursday afternoons, generally from April until October.
There is space for further riders who must be aged 12 or more and anyone who wants to take part or volunteer should contact Helen Munro on 01584 810083 or Wendy Jones on 01584 810259 for further information.
