SHOPPERS at a Ludlow optician had reason to think an eye test was overdue.
Ghosts and ghouls greeted customers at a Ludlow opticians on Halloween (October 31) as part of a fundraising day for Hope House Children’s Hospice.
Members of the team at Specsavers, 33 raided their dressing up boxes to don their scariest outfits as well as adorning the store with suitably spine tingling decorations.
A selection of homemade spooky treats were available for customers to try as well as a tombola, with all money raised going to Hope House.
“Hope House is a charity we have supported for a number of years and the team love dressing up so we thought it would be a great way to raise some money,” says store director Nicola Aubrey.
Hope House provides specialist nursing care and support to life-limited children, young people and young adults from Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales. They provide support to the whole family - from diagnosis, throughout the lifetime of the child and beyond.
