THE generosity of people in Cleobury Mortimer was evident again as students at Lacon Childe School celebrated the harvest.
Students were encouraged to remember their responsibility to care for those that do not have as much as them.
The students looked at food banks, the increasing dependence on them and the work of the Trussell Trust that aims to stop hunger in the UK by providing food in an emergency to those in crisis through their 445 food banks.
Students were asked to bring a non-perishable item to school to give to the local Trussell Trust food bank and resulted in donations of more than 500 items of pasta, beans and other foodstuff.
