Nearly 100 cyclists rode through South Shropshire during a 100 mile charity ride from Worcester to Aberdovey. Cyclists taking part in the event stopped off at the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre during their ride organised to raise funds for St Richards
THE Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms was for a short time invaded by a small army of cyclists.
They descended upon the centre to get some food and drink as well as taking a natural break for continuing on an arduous 100 mile ride between Worcester and Aberdovey.
It was planned for 100 riders to make the charity cycle on a course that was more like a competition road race stage than something for a family ride out into the countryside.
The early break at Craven Arms provided a chance to prepare for tougher sections later in the day.
