A BREWERY in Cleobury Mortimer is going ‘sweet'.

Hobsons Brewery and 'I Love Puddings' have teamed up to organise a special event at the brewery’s new tasting room in Cleobury Mortimer

With more than 30 years of experience, Jill Bunn who is local to Cleobury Mortimer will present six desserts and a mini-cookery demonstration as part of Hobsons calendar of foodie events organised with local producers.

"My passion is puddings, over the course of my cooking career I have cooked and organised events for a multitude of companies and numerous county shows, but this will be my first time at a brewery and I'm really looking forward to giving some of my puddings a twist by using Hobsons beer and Oldfields cider in the recipes," said Ms Bunn.

The menu includes Hobsons postman's knock sticky date and walnut pudding served with Hobsons toffee sauce, inspired by the winning recipe in Hobsons own cook book.

For the chocolate lovers there will be a chocolate mud pie delice garnished with cherries, a custard pastry tart with apple poached in Oldfields Cider served with custard sauce.

There will also be a lemon and elderflower cream drizzle cake, strawberry and passion fruit pavlova roulade and a frangipane treacle tart topped with tropical fruits.

The event will take place on Thursday, June 11 at 7.30pm.
