NOTHING could dim the enthusiasm of ale lovers at the Cleobury Mortimer Beer Festival.

The festival in its sixth year attracted ardent ale enthusiasts and families looking for a trip out to the Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club.

At the heart of the two day event was the opportunity to sample some of the best of locally produced ales and ciders.

As well as the old favourites, there were a number of new brews on offer.

But it was not just beer and cider on offer as there were also hot dogs and burgers on sale, as well as soft drinks for children, drivers, and others who wanted to steer clear of alcohol.

There was also open microphone entertainment led by Aaron Booton.

Among the breweries represented were: Bewdley Brewery, Corvedale Brewery, Enville Brewery, Hobsons Brewery, Ludlow Brewery, Three Tuns Brewery, Woods Brewery, Wye Valley Brewery, and Robinsons Cider.

The Cleobury Mortimer Beer Festival took place between 5pm and 11pm on Friday and noon and 9pm on Saturday.
