ONE of the most quirky museums in south Shropshire is open again for the new season.

The Land of Lost Content in Craven Arms specialises in everyday items from recent history.

It is full of once familiar items from the past 100 years with exhibitions that date back to Victorian days to things that people still have around and use today.

A visit is an opportunity for people to go back in time and remember a world as they knew it in their childhood.

It is possible to arrive expecting a glimpse from the past and find that landmarks from your own lives are on display.

One of the most recent donations was a gas mask from the Second World War that marked the 50th anniversary of the death and funeral of war time Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

The Land of Lost Content in Craven Arms is now open from 11am until 4.30pm every day except Wednesday until the end of November.

Items are added to the 32 displays at the venue.
