St Michaels WI Reading Group are staging a Murder Most Foul at St Michaels village hall on November 6, at 7.30pm. The Murder Mystery is called "Fete Accompli" and is all about a village fete that went badly wrong!

Any WI group is a small but important part of the local community. They provide a social contact point for a wide range of ages from young mothers to the very elderly. In a rural community such as St Michaels this can become a prime consideration, especially for those feeling isolated and vulnerable. It is important that the group keeps itself accessible. The members fund themselves.

St Michaels WI, has been going for 60 years. This year, 2014, is the 60th birthday. In order to celebrate this event members have decided that the 60th year should be one of fund raising; enabling it to stay open for several years to come in order to benefit the community.

One of the big events is the production of a Murder Mystery evening for the community and to include the nearest town of Tenbury Wells (so you see members have fun as well as the serious stuff).

This is being staged and produced by the St Michaels WI Reading Group and will be members first attempt at something on such a large scale.

There will be a free buffet with tea and coffee to feed the brain. Please feel free to bring a bottle of wine with glasses if it will help those little grey cells to work more smoothly.

There will also be a raffle and prizes, with a chance to try your hand at all the stalls, as well as have your fortune told.

All are welcome to solve this heinous crime.

Entry is by programme priced £3. Early programmes can be obtained from Theresa Mitchell 01584 819439 or from the Tourist Information Office in Teme Street Tenbury Wells.

Rest assured you will have a thoroughly good evening.
