A DRAWING competition was held in the Café-Bar at Burford House Garden Store where children were asked to draw a picture of themselves and their families having fun at the circus. There were colouring pencils available and a special Circus Post Box to post their finished design.
The competition was divided into four categories: three to four, five to six, seven to eight, and nine to10. The winner of the age three to four category was James Head aged three, Spencer Haycock aged five was the winner of the five to six category, two winners were chosen for the seven to eight category who were Athena Collier-Newton aged seven and Emma Lawley aged eight, and Molly Sheppard aged nine won the nine to 10 category.
The winners and their families won tickets to see the circus when they performed Burford House Garden Store on September 27 and 28.
