TOWN COUNCIL – On Tuesday at 7.30pm, the monthly council meeting will take place in the community centre.

Members of the public are invited to observe or comment on any matter.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Can you help between 9am and noon at the Sunday Lunch Club at Millmead held once a month? Enquiries to Mandy on 01588 672027. Can you help the Honeysuckle Club, Onibury? Volunteers wanted to run the club in view of the fact that the present people are retiring at the end of the summer.

MODERN JIVE – At the community centre on Thursdays from 8pm to 10pm.

WHIST DRIVES – There are two whist drives on Monday, taking place in Westhope Village Hall and Culmington Village Hall both at 8pm, £1.50.

BRIDGE CLUB – At Culmington Village Hall on Mondays at 1.30pm. Beginners catered for. 01588 672315.

GARDENS OPEN – Stokesay Court Onibury, on Sunday from 2pm to 5pm.

Adults £3.50, children free. Catering.

Shropshire Historic Churches Trust Open Gardens Scheme. Proceeds shared with the church of St Michael Onibury. Dogs on leads please. Also Upper Dinchope House, Corvedale 2pm to 6pm for Halford Church.

DIABETES SUPPORT – A special talk on Wednesday, June 6, at 2pm. Trish Morris will speak about her time spent with Mother Theresa. All welcome and there will be refreshments.

SPECIAL MEETING – At the community centre on Thursday, June 14, at 7pm, an important meeting to review and discuss plans for major future developments in Craven Arms. All welcome. Residents must get involved and put forward their views. Don’t miss it.

METHODIST CHURCH SPRING SALE RESULT – The recent sale realised the sum of more than £400 for church funds.
