CRAVEN ARMS AND DISTRICT RAIL USERS’ ASSOCIATION – A rare opportunity to hear John Cresswell’s illustrated talk on Great Train Tour of Europe on Monday at 7.30pm in the Methodist Centre. All are welcome; refreshments, admission free. Also an update on the latest developments regarding train travel. Enquiries on 01588 673196.
SHAMBLERS WALKING GROUP – Every second and fourth Tuesday from the Discovery Centre at 10.30am.

CORVEDALE CHOIR – Fortnightly at Culmington Village Hall. Enquiries to 01584 841053.
JUMBLE SALE – At Wistanstow Village Hall on Saturday at 2pm in aid of the Over-60s. Usual stalls, raffle and refreshments. Donations welcome in the morning. 01694 781209.
CHURCH SPRING SALE – From 9.30am to noon on Saturday in the Methodist Centre, Corvedale Road. As usual, there will be a large variety of items for sale including plants, books, refreshments, raffle, household goods, cakes and crafts etc. If you have any donations please bring them in on Friday afternoon or early on the Saturday morning.
LADIES’ GROUP – Meet on Wednesday at 6.30pm, Lambeth to visit Hopton Castle. 01588 673361. All welcome.
CHURCH ANNIVERSARY – Methodist Church, Corvedale Road, on Sunday at 11am with Mr M Hallworth. Shared lunch, all are welcome.
WISTANSTOW PLAYERS – Meet at Sunnyside on the third Thursday of the month, until July, at 8pm.
CRAVEN ARMS BOWLING CLUB – Tuesday evenings from 7pm. Would you like to borrow some bowls and learn how to play this good game?
ONIBURY PARISH WALK – Advance notice: Sunday, June 10, at 10am.

TWO OPEN GARDENS – On May 27, two open gardens: Upper Dinchope House, Craven Arms, 2pm to 6pm, refreshments, cake stall, plants etc. In aid of Halford Church. The second garden is Stokesay Court, Onibury, 2pm to 5pm, 20 acres. Admission £3.50, children free. Dogs on leads.
Proceeds to be shared with St Michael’s Church, Onibury.
