HISTORY GROUP - The Craven Arms and District History Group are holding their monthly meeting at The Discovery Centre, Craven Arms on Wednesday, at 7pm, when Nick Mansfield will give an illustrated talk on the First World War in South Shropshire. All welcome.

COFFEE MORNING - An Easter coffee morning was held recently at the Pilgrim Centre, organised by The Stokesay Stitchers. The proceeds were in aid of the Friends of Ludlow Hospital. There was a good display of craft items locally made, together with cakes and preserves and nearly new items, with hot cross buns served.

Peter Corfield, Chairman of The Friends, visited the sale and thanked those responsible for putting on the event. The Hospital is expected to be completed by 2014.

A G M - At Wistanstow Village Hall - Over Sixties Annual General Meeting 8pm, held in the kitchen of the Hall.

All welcome MIDDLE MARCHES LIONS CLUB - At the Craven Arms Hotel, All are invited to this interesting evening to meet the members tomorrow (Friday) at 7.30.

FUTURE OF THE COMMUNITY CENTRE - At the Centre on April 17, at 7pm a meeting to discuss the future of the Centre. Please try to attend this important meeting. You may need to put forward your views as well as listening to proposals.

LENT LUNCH TOMORROW - (Friday) Methodist Centre 12 noon Lent Lunch of delicious soup choices, cheeses and breads, all welcome £3 proceeds for Christian Aid. All welcome.
