THE ornate setting of Stokesay Court near Ludlow was the venue for a fashion show that will ensure the town’s war dead are remembered.
A fashion show in aid of the Ludlow war Memorial fund raised £700 and attracted more than 100 guests.
Four clothes shops in Ludlow provided the outfits and models for a spectacular event at the country house that was built in 1889.
Taking part were Bodenham’s, Oskar, Expensive Mistakes and Bride’s of Ludlow.
There were more than 30 different outfits on display ranging from casual wear to formal clothes for both women and men.
After the fashion show cheese and wine was available for the guests.
Jenny Vaughan, the event organiser, thanked all of those that helped and said that she was delighted that her original target of £500 was exceeded.
