MEMORIES of sticky teeth have been added to the collection at a museum in Craven Arms.
The ‘Land of Lost Content’ museum in Craven Arms has acquired two signs from the form Blue Bird toffee factory at Hunnington near Birmingham.
Founded by Harry Vincent the toffee maker had the same ideas about providing a good working environment as Cadbury and the Frys.
The factory was the home of the toffee maker for 100 years from 1898. Now it makes toffees in Hull as part of Needler’s.
Concentrating on items of social history the Museum of Lost Content is full of everyday items that older people will remember. It is open every day of the week apart from Sundays and Wednesdays.
