PEOPLE with an interest in nature can join expert walk leader, Keith Pybus, who will take them on the first of a series of seasonal walks from the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms.

A particular favourite for Keith is a three-mile linear walk involved the River Clun.

“Although there are more dramatic displays, I think the setting along the River Clun and its tributaries can’t be bettered anywhere,” he said.

“The Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has over 600 miles of brooks, streams and rivers.

"Nowhere are you more than half a mile from flowing water.”

For the first walk, people meet at the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre then drive in convoy about five miles along B4368 to the start of the walk.

It is on Sunday, February 14 between 10.15am and 12.30pm, costing £3.50 per person (includes 10% discount voucher to be used in the Discovery Centre).
