DERWN College is pleased to be launching its product range at the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms today (Thursday, December 3).
The college now has a satellite centre open in Craven Arms offering further education and training for people with additional support needs.
Derwen @ Craven Arms offers vocational opportunities with the focus on business and retail including an online hamper business which was recently launched via the college website.
It will be selling a range of products hand-made by the students and including preserves, ornaments and gifts.
“We are delighted to support Derwen College, Grow Cook Learn is a registered charity managing Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre and we are committed to supporting local producers, artists and artisan crafts, as well as creating training and education opportunities,” said Catherine Collier, marketing and development manager for the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre.
“Working in partnership with Derwen College helps promote our own aims but also supports the students of Derwen College realise their potential to develop skills in retail and business studies.”
