AS Christmas draws near, Lacon Childe School in Cleobury Mortimer has a busy programme of events.
On Saturday, December 15, the school is holding its annual winter concert in the school hall which will include contributions from all areas of the school and involve music and dance of all varieties.
Tickets can be bought from the school office at a cost of £5 for adults and £4 for children/concessions.
There is also a senior citizens’ party on Friday, December 14. Doors open at 1.15pm with the event starting at 1.30pm.
Guests will be offered afternoon tea prepared by Year 10 pupils and entertained with music, dance and a game of bingo.
Finally, to round off the Christmas festivities, members of the school community will gather at St Mary’s Church, also on Friday, December 14, at 7pm to celebrate Christmas with readings, music and carols.
All donations will be shared between the church and PTA.
