THE gardens and ground floor rooms at Mawley Hall, near Cleobury Mortimer, will be open to the public on Sunday.
The event, from noon to 5pm, is organised by The Friends of St Mary’s Church, Cleobury Mortimer, and Shropshire Historic Churches Trust.
The gardens surrounding the hall are mostly on the level, with gravelled paths suitable for wheelchairs.
Afternoon teas will be available in the furnished old stables or outside, if the weather permits. There is an admission charge for adults, although accompanied children under six get in free. Car parking is free.
Also, St Mary’s Church in Cleobury Mortimer will be open for an all-day flower festival on Saturday and Sunday from 11am. Refreshments will be available.
Admission is free, with donations towards the church flower fund.
