A LITTLE bit of Japan came to Church Stretton at the weekend.
People were able to sample Japanese culture including some traditional drumming.
But there was more than just a chance to listen as visitor of all ages had the opportunity to have a go.
The event at Church Stretton School was organised by 16-year-old Eryn Lawley from Ludlow and two of her friends.
They will be spending time in Japan next year as part of an international scout Jamboree.
The first world scout jamboree was in 1923 and the 23rd one will be in Kirara-hama in Japan next July and August when Eryn and her friends will join 4,000 other scouts and guides from the United Kingdom and tens of thousands of others from around the world.
βIt will be very exciting and we are looking for to it,β said Eryn who is a student at Ludlow College.
