Ram-raiders target SpArC centre in Bishop's Castle

RAM-raiders tried to smash their way into the SpArC centre, Bishop’s Castle, early this morning.
A vehicle driven into the main glass entrance doors caused “significant damage” and may have left the Brampton Road leisure and events venue structurally unsafe.
At this stage, the raiders are believed to have escaped empty-handed. Forensic teams and structural engineers are currently at the scene.
Detectives believe the raiders struck at around 4.30am and were using a red vehicle.
