THYME café in Bishop’s Castle is displaying the work of local artist Sue Percy throughout the summer and raising money for SpArC at the same time.
Josie Stephens, proprietor of Thyme, encourages local artists to exhibit at the café.
Sue lives and works in Bishop's Castle and paints mostly watercolours of trees, flowers, wildlife and landscapes. She says “It is great to be able to exhibit my pictures in Thyme; the café gets lots of visitors who seem to appreciate my work. Josie also kindly donates the commission to the Save the SpArC Fund which we are both keen to support”.
Thyme café is open Monday to Saturday and, along with a warm welcome and home cooked food, sells art work, local maps, guides, cards and locally produced bread, jams, pastries, ice cream and chutneys.
