FRIENDS of Knighton Primary School have recently purchased a large play fort for the infant children.
The money for the fort was raised from fundraising events throughout the year.
The fort was built by Jamie Williams from Playhouse Paradise based in Presteigne.
Knighton's mayor Cllr Sally Vaughan officially opened the fort watched by members of the Friends of the School and lots of children keen to start playing in the fort.
Louise Hardwick chairman of the FOS thanked everyone for their continued support in helping them to raise money for their fabulous school.
