THE Tipsy Tart held a charity event on February 27, at The Brewery in aid of Alzheimer's Society - West Midlands.
The Polka Dots provided the music with most of the people attending in vintage dress. Two prizes were giving out for the best dressed. A raffle for gift baskets and a "Tipsy Tart" board for fun photos where people gave money to put their head through.
One couple there, were was Mr and Mrs Love, who had been married over 60 years and he has Alzheimers. He absolutely loved the event dancing with his wife.
Tipsy Tart provided the food in the form of a finger buffet with help of friends and Karl from Aragons restaurant, as well as providing a Tipsy Tart drink which was strawberry daiquiri, passionfruit gin or a peach vodka cocktail with Prosecco.
The evening was a huge success with 100 attending. All the profits after costs were sent to Alzheimer's. The total raised by The Tipsy Tart since last summer at food and drink festivals with our fun board and this event, is £1,500.
