THIS year's theatrical production at Ludlow CE School was the musical Bugsy Malone. Over 100 students were involved with the production as performers, musicians, backstage and making refreshments. Both nights were a huge success and all seats were sold out. The audience followed Bugsy's story (played by Zak Osborne) as he tried to woo Blousey (played by Chloe Powell-Bevan).

Meanwhile, a gang turf war was being played out, as Fat Sam (played by Callum Beardmore) was steadily losing his empire to Dandy Dan (played by Louis Lawley). The students delivered a production of exceptional quality with vigour, energy, plenty of pizzazz, and bucket loads of splurge.

As well as the leads, there were stand out performances from Nicole Tomkins as Tallulah, Phoebe Bright Bowen as Fizzy, and Shola Thomas as Knuckles. The audience were treated to 1920s inspired mocktails and New York themed finger food. The production was in memory of Mr Gareth Thomas, the school workshop technician. All proceeds from the production will go to St Richard's Hospice Worcester.
