A VINEYARD on the south Shropshire border is swapping wines for textiles on Saturday.
Kerry Vale Vineyard near Bishops Castle is holding a Textile workshop by local teacher Janet Lees on Saturday (November 14).
She will host the five-hour workshop between 10.00am and 3.00pm with the theme of ‘making gifts with a personal touch’.
Those involved will learn how to, applique letters and motifs onto fabric, embellish with buttons, beads, ribbon & lace and turn their work of art into a usable item.
They will be shown how to make a wine or general purpose gift bag, lined and zipped pouch, cushion or tote bag.
Kerry Vale Vineyard is a small, family run English vineyard that was planted in 2010. It is set in six acres of farmland at the eastern tip of the Vale of Kerry.
