STAFF at Tesco in Ludlow hosted a Grease-themed fundraising week in store to raise funds for Diabetes UK and the British Heart Foundation.
By dressing as characters from Grease and playing the movie soundtrack in store to accompany the spirit of the event, they raised over £1,000 for the National Charity Partnership.
Customers were given the chance to win one of two hampers as part of the store's fundraising activities.
The three-year partnership between Tesco, Diabetes UK and the BHF aims to raise millions of pounds to help save lives through helping people to eat better and get active, reducing their risk of serious ill-health in the future, as well as helping to fund the vital work of the BHF and Diabetes UK.
