A TEDDY bears' picnic is the theme for an unusual piece of street art in Bishop's Castle.
The ‘yarn bomb’ shows bears, food and drink, a picnic rug, hamper and flowers all made from a selection of colourful yarns.
It can be seen on the top of the post box outside Bishop's Castle Post Office.
Yarn bombing is a type of street graffiti using knitted or crocheted yards. Unlike graffiti using paint and chalk it is intended to be easily removed.
The craze is reputed to have started in the southern United States of America.
