THIS is a great time of year to visit the Bishop's Castle Farmer’s Market because of the abundance of locally grown fruit and vegetables.
With the growing season in full swing the fresh produce took pride of place at the July market.
A market is held on the third Saturday of each month at the refurbished town hall.
On regular sale are meats, cakes, bread and preserves as well as more seasonal produce.
The market takes place between 9am and 2pm and attracts visitors both from the local area and further away.
All items on sale originate within a 30 mile radius of Bishop's Castle.
