A DISPLAY of animal skulls and bones were an unusual element of the monthly farmers market in Bishops Catle.
The market is held in the recently refurbished town hall on the third Saturday of every month.
It enables traders from Bishops Castle and the surrounding area to sell and showcase their produce to locals and visitors.
The staple of the market are food and drink together with some stalls selling crafts.
However, the skulls and bones at the most recent market were not up for sale.
They were exhibits from the Shropshire Wildlife Trust that was raising awareness of the work that it does and also trying to attract new members.
One of their exhibits that attracted particular interest was a red deer skull and antlers that showed just one example of the range of wildlife and birds that can be found in south Shropshire.
