A HANDBAG from the ‘age of elegance’ was one of the items for sale at the Bishops Castle Vintage Sale.
Clothes were an important feature at the sale that is one of a series of new events that are held regularly at the recently refurbished Bishops Castle Town Hall.
There were plenty of items on sale for those who want a ‘retro’ look and the handbag dating from the 1950s was of particular interest.
The hall has been refurbished trough a £676,000 Heritage Lottery Grant and the local community is well on the way to raising its contribution of £62,000.
