THERE was a collectors and flea market at Bishops Castle Town Hall at the weekend.
It enabled people to hunt out some unusual Christmas gifts including greeting cards, textiles and interior furnishings.
The markets happen on the first Saturday of every month and are part of an extended programme of regular events at the town hall that has undergone a major restoration.
A full programme of events has been planned for the historic building that has been restored to its past glory.
The first flea markets have been a success creating a real buzz in the building and regular Monday markets are staged.
The farmers’ market, which had continued throughout the renovation works at an alternative location, are now back at the town hall on the third Saturday of each month.
