ON September 10, Class 1 and Nursery from Lydbury North School went on a trip to Coed-y-Dinas, Welshpool as part of their topic Caring for Animals.
The children saw a variety of animals from small hamsters to a large boa constrictor snake called Rocky. Staff talked to the children about animal care and the best way to look after their pets.
Year 2 pupil Flynn Swallow said, "We saw all sorts of animals but I enjoyed touching Rocky the snake best."
A fellow Year 2 pupil Oliver Pearce said, "The bearded dragon was scary but I touched it!"
