STUDENTS at Ludlow School achieved some impressive individual GCSE results.
Every single student achieved a full GCSE and a number of youngsters gained at least eight A* and A grades.
Those students included Alex Church, Holly Croft, Tom Harrington, Tom Henshaw, Dan Hillman, Tom Knight, Elliot McColl, Callum Monteith-Roberts, Lauren Morris, Eric Redknap, Megan Turner, Stephanie
Upton-Roddy, Anna Wiessner and Lauren Watkins.
“We are pleased for our students who have worked for a long time to achieve these results and they have been overwhelmingly rewarded for their hard work and ability,” said Phil Poulton, headteacher
of Ludlow CE School.
“This year has been tougher than ever with expectations from examination boards at their highest for some time.
“I am grateful for the support of everyone involved with the children, particularly the parents, carers and staff.
“It’s good to know that the efforts of our young people will result in them moving on to the next stage of their lives. We wish them all the best.”
The school says that the total number of pupils gaining five A* to C GCSE passes is around 58 per cent with the final figure yet to be confirmed.
