Emergency services called to explosion at Ludlow substation

FIRE, police and electrical engineers were called to Ludlow after an explosion at an electricity substation in the town.
The incident happened at Ledwyche Court on Tuesday evening.
Local people called the emergency services at about 6pm and fire fighters from Ludlow and Craven Arms attended.
