A NINE--YEAR-old girl was grabbed by a man in Burford yesterday.
The school girl was making her way down the alleyway that leads off the Burford Village Hall car park onto Stanbrook Road when she saw an unknown man walking towards her.
Without warning, he grabbed her round the shoulder and started to walk back along the alleyway.
Police say that he walked for some distance while holding her arm, but released his grip as they reached the end of Penlu Road.
He was last seen walking along Swan Lane.
The suspect is described as being white, around 5ft 10ins tall, bald and wearing glasses and trainers.
