A MAN fell out of a tree and into a ditch in Ludlow on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to Green Acres just after 9.30am.
Paramedics and firefighters had to use a stretcher to rescue the man, who had ended up in some water in the ditch.
He was then airlifted to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for further assessment.
Ambulance spokesman Chris Kowalik said that the report that crews received was that the man, who is in his 30s, fell about 40 feet out of the tree, then a fell even further into the water.
It is unclear what his injuries were.
