A YOUNG Ludlow stylist may be a cut above the rest, but she’s keeping her head after winning a hairdressing award.
Lorna Biggs, aged 18, has been learning her trade at Arte Allure in Attorney's Walk in Ludlow.
She won her award from County Training with a piece of work on the theme of "Red Carpet" in which one of Lorna's friends agreed to be the model and get herself a special hair-do as a reward.
"I am very pleased for Lorna. It was a great way to end her training," said Paula Mellings, who owns the salon.
Her success marked a high spot for Lorna at the end of her two year apprenticeship, who had to do the make-up, hair and dress a model to win the competition.
