Ludlow Borough sent 17 birds to Saintes in France, a distance of 467 miles.
The birds were liberated at 6.10 into a south east wind which helped them. The red card went to club Secretary T Burgoyne who wins the pools with A Orsborn second who wins the snowball.
Full Result: 1 T Burgoyne (1,299.30 yards per minute), 2 A Orsborn (1,134.64), 3 T Burgoyne (1,120.53), 4 Watkins Bros (1,056.58).

Ludlow Homing Society held their last old bird race of the season from Saintes Trevor Hughes rounded off an excellent season by taking first and third positions with Mick Tipton third.
Result: 1 T Hughes (1,430), 2 M Tipton (1,407), 3 T Hughes (1,347),4 C. Pitt (1,289), 5 B Morse 1213; (6) G. price 1199.
