Gardening Club: The annual show proved to be a great success both in numbers and quality of entries.
Especially encouraging was the number of entries from children and new exhibitors.
The cup winners were: Tom Bore, Harry Jenkins, Joyce Hide, Marion Cox, Marion Wilson, Hannah Walford and Victoria Harris. As a result of all these efforts, a substantial cheque will be donated to the Air Ambulance.
The club's next meeting is due to take place on Wednesday, October 27, with Secrets of the Teme by Gareth Thomas.
As usual, the venue is the Victory Hall, at 7.30 for 8pm
