RECENT letters to your paper have drawn attention to the delay in undertaking the repairs to the collapsed wall adjacent to St John's Gardens.
As the town wall is an ancient monument subject to conservation orders, it is a difficult task to draw together the agencies involved in united action. A start date is near.
However, I was assured that an effort would be made to tidy up the site and I await developments with interest.
