A TEENAGER was taken to hospital after he fell off his motorbike near Craven Arms yesterday.

Emergency services were called to the A489, near to the A49 turning in Wistanstow, at around 1pm.

Ambulance press officer Claire Thomas said: “Crews arrived to find a teenager who had been injured after reportedly leaving the road and coming off his motorcycle.

“The 17-year-old biker suffered an injury to his wrist and was complaining of back pain.

“Crews gave the teenager pain relief and immobilised him with a neck collar and spinal board before transferring him to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for further treatment.”
