CURIOSITY meets oneupmanship in Flhip Flhop, a show which tells the story of two friends competing to entertain each other in an attempt to forget the monotony of everyday life through hip hop music and dance.

The elements of hip hop are hidden and twisted into a dynamic physical performance using found objects and intricate choreography to create an energetic and spontaneous comedy.

Matt Bailey has performed in plays off- Broadway and has had a professional career in dance and performance.

He is also a DJ and has performed across the UK, Europe and America, releasing CDs to critical acclaim with DJ Para.

Joey D is a true hip hop artist who has been representing the b-boy culture for almost a decade.

At the age of 24 he has already made a name for himself in the UK for the originality of his dancing and his aggressiveness in dance battles.

As well as constant teaching and workshops, Joey D tours theatres and schools and competes in competitions across the UK, Europe and America.

Joey and Matt are leading a hip hop skills workshop before the show for anyone aged over 10.

Flhip Flhop will be at Ludlow Assembly Rooms on November 1. The workshop runs from 10.30am to 12.30pm, and the show is at 5pm. To book, call the box office on 01584 878141.
