IF, like me, you’ve been lucky enough to get a place in the 2010 Virgin London Marathon, I’m sure you’ll be extremely excited!
This will be my first ever marathon and I’m really motivated to do well as I’ve pledged to raise £1,500 for a very worthy cause – veterinary charity PDSA.
PDSA provides free veterinary treatment to the sick and injured pets of people in need. As an animal lover, I really admire the work they do across the UK.
The charity is giving me lots of support, including training advice and they’ve put me in touch with other runners to share tips. Plus, after the race, there will be somewhere to go and relax, have something to eat and drink, as well as a luxury sports massage to help ease aching muscles.
To join me and the PDSA team, please contact the fund-raising department on 0800 917 2509 or email marathon@pdsa.org.uk CAROLINE PERRY, Church Stretton.
