Catering challenge A NEWNHAM Bridge couple will be holding a major fundraising dinner for the Help for Heroes forces charity at their home on Sunday.
Captain Peter Morgan and his wife Jill will entertain more than 60 guests.
Amongst the guests will be Richard Jones, the Mayor of Tenbury, Brigadier Maurice Sutcliffe OBE, who was Captain Morgan’s commanding officer, and Sergeant David Jackson, who is now a Chelsea pensioner.
“David and I gained our wings on the same day in 1964 in southern Arabia,”
said Capt Morgan.
Last year Capt Morgan, aged 72, and his son Guy raised £17,500 for the charity with a parachute jump.
