TENBURY councillor Phil Grove, leader of Malvern Hills District Council has revealed the initial findings of an independent survey into how people feel about the area in which they live.
Malvern Hills was one of a number of council areas in Worcestershire taking part in the survey by the polling organisation MORI.
Its purpose was to find out what the issues are and to pin-point areas where more resources are needed to tackle particular problems.
Findings include: ■ Children and young people enjoy better than average education ■ Levels of crime and antisocial behaviour are amongst the lowest in the country ■ Unemployment is relatively low and there is a diverse local economy ■ Streets are generally clean and free from litter
