HOT from their success at the Michaelmas Fair in September, the popular Shropshire trio Whalebone are returning to Bishop’s Castle for a fantastic night of exciting acoustic music at The Three Tuns on October 17.

Whalebone are a rootsy, folky, funky acoustic trio who perform their own compositions alongside supercharged renditions of traditional music and wild re-workings of rock guitar classics, all played with dazzling musicianship.

“We’re really excited to be returning to Bishop’s Castle, and to be playing our first concert at The Three Tuns,”

says co-promoter Steve Downs.

“It’s a great venue in a fantastic town, and we’re all expecting to have a wonderful night here’.

The concert will start at 9pm.

Tickets are priced at £5 each and are available on the night only. For details, see whalebone-music.com.

The previous evening, Whalebone will be playing at Llanbeddr Village Hall, a venue they’ve not visited before, so they’re offering a ‘try before you buy offer’.

The trio will email two tunes free to anyone who’d like to hear them beforehand.

To get your free tunes, email whalebone-music@ tiscali.co.uk with ‘free tunes please’ as the subject.

Tickets for Llanbeddr are £6 each from ticketsource.co.uk /whalebone or from Steve Downs on 01746 765268.
