LONGTOWN COMMUNITY PRIMARY SCHOOL - After-school French and tennis clubs have begun and a recorder club will begin after half term.

The school has been successful in securing lottery funding promoting the wildlife garden and the grow-your-own project. A huge ‘thank you’ goes to one of the mums, Rachel Maflin, and her team for their work in securing this substantial funding. A very successful coffee morning was held on Friday providing an opportunity for members of the community to come and meet the new headteacher, Mrs McGrath. All staff and pupils will wear their jeans to school tomorrow (Friday) to raise funds for Jeans for Genes.

PRAYER - Taize Prayer will take place on Sunday at 8pm, in the Bryn Barn on the road from Ewyas Harold to Longtown – look out for the signposts. For more information about Taize go to taize.fr.
